IGNITE Bursary

The IGNITE Bursary exists to ease financial stress. Whether it’s tuition, textbooks, groceries or unexpected costs, you deserve to focus on what matters most: your student experience. 
All full-time domestic and international students are eligible to apply for the $500 IGNITE Bursary.

Can I Apply?

Requirements

✔ I am a full-time student paying full-time ancillary and tuition fees

✔ I am a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, protected person or Study Visa student 

✔ I can demonstrate financial need (proof of expenses may be required) 

✔ I can demonstrate commitment to my program of study

✔ Not have received any IGNITE Financial support during this academic year

Bursary Timeline

Eligible Humber Polytechnic and University of Guelph-Humber students may apply beginning October 13, 2026.  

Please note: You are limited to one IGNITE Bursary per academic year.
